Lullatone and Aus live-recordings at Camera Japan

Last year the Camera Japan invited Lullatone and Aus for some shows at their Festival. Both act played on a beautiful F-luister afternoon, which seemed to be the last warm and sunny day of  a late summer. A week later they played at the main festival in Rotterdam. Due to the excellent soundengineers of the 'Lantaren Venster' we were able to make these recordings.
Lullatone

Lullatone describe their music as “Pajama Pop”, dreamy J-pop which takes its influences from Bossa Nova, French chansons, and children’s songs, played by a talented duo who have found the eternal fountain of youth. While colorfull balloons were falling from the CBK art gallery ceiling during theit F-luister show, Lullatone decided to strip down their cuteness in their Rotterdam show to the power and simplicity of their songs. But still very cheerfull with Music handbells, recorders and xylophones.

aus

aus is the solo project of FukuzonoYasuhiko who has been composing music since his teens, including for many short films. Though still very young, he already has quite an impressive body of work. Including running the Flau label with releases of Kumi-Solo, El Fog and The Boats. In Rotterdam he clould play the venues Steinway grandpiano, which sound he blended with beautiful, bright melancholic melodies and intricate percussive beats. Halfway the japanese artist Cuushe joined him on vocals, making some beautifull laidback vocals with a jazzy touch.   www.flau.jp
